Compassion Cultivation Training© – Starts February 8, 2025

Compassion Cultivation Training© is an 8-week program designed at Stanford University’s Center for Compassion and Altruism Research and Education (CCARE). The course offers an understanding of compassion based on the collaborative work between scientists and contemplatives, and provides a step-by-step, evidence-based process to strengthen and sustain our inherent capacity for compassion.

Through experiential exercises, group discussions, and contemplative techniques, participants will gain practical tools to cultivate a deeper sense of self-awareness, empathy, and compassion. In times of increasing rates of burnout, and in recognition of the essential need for social justice in all aspects of society, skills to engage in inner inquiry and cultivate sustainable inner resources are necessary for personal as well as collective well-being.
