SOINS PERSONNELS QU\u00c9BEC<\/strong> published an important document titled “Faits Saillant<\/strong>” in late 2016 following a large-scale survey, in which massage therapists were asked to identify the most important missing components of their training that they wished had been included, but wasn’t.<\/p>\n

Practical hours<\/strong> comes in first (38%), sales techniques in second <\/strong>(34%) and insufficient management and administrative tools in third place <\/strong>(30%). Concordia and other universities offer certificates in business that combine the second and third items. The cost is quite affordable and the quality of the courses is generally excellent.\u00a0 You can find more information through the link below.<\/p>\n

If you are looking into getting some additional training without wanting to enroll or commit to a full certificate or degree, you might consider individual courses, based on your interests and background.<\/p>\n

Many universities have a category of students labelled Independent students<\/strong>. One of the advantages is being able to take courses to further your knowledge without aiming at obtaining a degree. One disadvantage is that you are among the last to be able to enroll in a course, as students who are in a program get priority.<\/p>\n

We surveyed various independent courses available at Concordia, and compiled the following list for you. While the link between the class content and your personal practice may be indirect, we’ve narrowed the choices so you can quickly browse your options.<\/p>\n
